The Cherubim Sets symbolise the Cherubim Seraphim, one of the nine battalions of the Angels, but all the angelic forces that accompany the entrance of the gospel and stand honorably to God.
They are placed on poles in the sacred step, back and east of the Holy Altar and in the middle they bear the Holy Cross. They always advance at the entrances of the Holy sequences, Vespers, Litany, Divine Liturgy and last.
The exapterflies are metal banners with performances of angelic forms that radiate, with embossed, amphitheatrical performances of Seraphim, of wood or metal, gilded or silver-plated.
Also depicted forms of Christ, the Virgin Mary, various saints and the resurrection.
There are smaller ones, the table top-up, placed above and east of the Holy Bank.
