The Holy Grail is the oldest of the liturgical vessels symbolizes the Holy Cup that Jesus gave to the Apostles on the evening of the Last Supper the sacrament of the Eucharist.
It was given to Joseph from Arimathia, one of the Secret disciples of Jesus. After the Crucifixion, when Joseph released the God-Man from the cross with the Grail, he gathered Jesus ‘ blood and sweat. Shortly thereafter Joseph was arrested and imprisoned in a carved tomb in order to die of hunger and thirst. But according to the church, he survived for many years thanks to the magical power of Grail.
In the Holy Grail is placed the Holy body and the honorable blood of the Lord to commune the believers. Made of precious metals gold or silver, decorated with special carved performances, it is based on a wide base.
